The Lamp

Making a little history in the book of Ruth, we find that this woman was a pagan, and was the great-grandmother of King David,
and we also know that King Solomon son of David, was the son of Bathsheba, the wife also pagan, and we all know as Bathsheba became the wife of King David.

The most important of these facts show that God has no prejudice or disqualify anyone for their origin or their past, what he have in mind, it is our conduct, present and future.

However, the various Christian religions, consider giving worship to God, is to attend regularly to the temple, and whether those baptized, if you confess your sins, whether Holy Communion, if you pay tithe and the contributions they can make to the church where he is attending .

And, almost never concerned with what really interests you to God, which really wants from us,

If we look at what happens in our own home, or in the neighborhood, and everywhere in the world, then we compare it with what he says the next reading, we will know if indeed we are to worship God.

PROVERBS 3

The help of neighbor

27
Refuse no one the good on which he has a claim when it is in your power to do it for him.
28
Say not to your neighbor, "Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give," when you can give at once.
29
Plot no evil against your neighbor, against him who lives at peace with you.
30
Quarrel not with a man without cause, with one who has done you no harm.
31
Envy not the lawless man and choose none of his ways:
32
To the LORD the perverse man is an abomination, but with the upright is his friendship.
33
The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked, but the dwelling of the just he blesses;
34
When he is dealing with the arrogant, he is stern, but to the humble he shows kindness.

What's it worth, being baptized with water, or to attend the temple to celebrate, or confess our sins, or contribute to the temple, if we do not in our daily lives what God request us?, Because in our life are or not. the worship of God.

Now let's see the next reading, which is a warning and a sentence at once:

LUKE 8

16
5 "No one who lights a lamp conceals it with a vessel or sets it under a bed; rather, he places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light.
17
For there is nothing hidden that will not become visible, and nothing secret that will not be known and come to light.
18
Take care, then, how you hear. To anyone who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he seems to have will be taken away."

Jesus came into the world to bring the light of knowledge so that no one is fasting, He is the lamp that illuminates our minds and our hearts, Jesus with his light reveals the things of God that man can not see,
but if you do not pay attention to his teachings, if we are to be guided by men and not by God, even the little that we have, we will remove, and the verdict is, "will be out crying, and grinding of teeth"
